Grammer Question?

I noticed a Sara Lee Company's truck on Monday. I want feed back about the slogan:

"Nobody Doesn't Like Sara Lee"

I know what they mean, but the more I thought about and read it, the less it made sense. I thought about it all night. Sigh. These things trouble me.

Is it a double negative? Is that why it works?

  1. Yes, ma'am. It's awkward, but.... it works. :)

  2. You could string it out to say, "There isn't any person who does not like our expensive bread" (which may actually be true), but I think that defeats the marketing purpose.

After all, you were thinking about it all night - when do you think you'll be able to forget that one?

  3. PS. It's "grammar" - not "grammer".
